The FLT16 code on the Ax60+ usually occurs from 2 main issues, the first and more common is a failure in the automatic zero calibration. This is only the most common failure if there are no other faults that have lead up to the FLT16. To perform a manual calibration you must have calibration gasses then you should be able to calibrate it yourself following the instructions found in section 5 of the service manual. If you have an installer, they should be able to come out and help in the calibration of the system. If your installer does not provide that service, we do offer an after-sales repair service where you could send the Ax60+ back to us and we could calibrate it for you, or depending on where you are, we may be able to send one of our partners out to help.
The second most common issue is if the alarm direction settings have been changed on the CO2 sensor.
- Power cycle the system
- Immediately press and hold the top two buttons until the top level menu is reached
- Press the cycle button repeatedly until the Sensor config option is found then press the Accept button
- Press cycle until the alarm direction option is shown then press the accept button
- Select the appropriate sensor (in this case 'location 3')
- Select each alarm in turn and ensure the alarm direction is upwards.
- This may take several system power cycles because as soon as the FLT16 triggers it is no longer possible to enter the top level menu.
- Once all CO2 alarms have been set to high going, any faults should be acknowledged and the system should be power cycled one last time.
- This should resolve this issue.
